A second meeting of four of the major karate groups in England was held on 16th December at the offices of the Sport and

Recreation Alliance in london, hosted by the Alliance’s chief executive, Tim Lamb.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of creating a more unified governance structure for the sport of

karate in England for the benefit of all participants.

There was a constructive discussion on how the potential obstacles to unification might be overcome and it was agreed to

meet again in the new year to move the discussion forward.
